Xchange Sports Bike Accessories Warranty
1-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects when purchased from Xchange Sports.
This warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults and does not cover normal wear and tear, abrasion through regular riding, accidental damage, misuse or damage caused by falls and impacts.
30-Day Love Your Ride Guarantee
We want you and your child to be happy with your purchase.
If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll work with you to find the best solution.
Many glove sizing and fit questions can often be resolved quickly with a little guidance, so we recommend contacting us before arranging a return or exchange.

Returns & Exchanges
If you would like to return or exchange your Strider Gloves, please contact us before sending them back.
Once your request has been reviewed, we’ll provide a Return Authorisation Number and return instructions.
Change-of-Mind & Size Returns
For approved change-of-mind returns or exchanges, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Where the gloves supplied match your order and product description, ordering a size that does not fit is treated as a change-of-mind return or exchange, rather than a shipping or fulfilment error.
Before Wearing the Gloves Outdoors
If you think you may need to return the gloves for change-of-mind or sizing reasons, please keep them:
- Unused
- Unmarked and clean
- Complete as a matching pair
- With all original tags attached where applicable
- In their original packaging
- In resellable condition
We recommend trying the gloves on indoors and checking finger movement and comfort before your child rides in them.
If We Send the Wrong Item
If Xchange Sports makes an error with your order — such as sending the wrong product or size — we’ll provide a pre-paid return label at no cost to you and arrange the appropriate solution.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe your gloves have a manufacturing fault or defect, please contact us before returning them.
Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate solution may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any written warranty and cannot be excluded by this policy. Consumer guarantee rights may also continue beyond the stated warranty period where applicable.
Choosing the Right Fit
This product is supplied in a Youth / Youth XS size and has historically been recommended for children approximately 4–6 years old.
Age should only be treated as a general guide because children’s hands can vary significantly in size.
A correctly fitting cycling glove should:
- Feel comfortably snug without squeezing the hand
- Allow your child to fully open and close their fingers
- Allow easy movement of the thumb
- Not bunch excessively around the palm
- Stay securely positioned while gripping the handlebars
- Allow easy access to brake levers where fitted
If the fingertips are significantly too long or your child cannot comfortably operate their bike controls, the glove is not a suitable fit.
Check the Gloves Before Every Ride
Regularly inspect the gloves for:
- Excessive palm wear
- Torn seams
- Damaged fingers
- Loose or damaged closures
- Any wear that could interfere with handlebar or brake control
Replace gloves that are excessively worn or damaged.
Gloves Complement — Not Replace — Other Protection
Bike gloves provide useful hand coverage and grip, but they are not a replacement for a correctly fitted bicycle helmet or other appropriate protective equipment.
