The Hornit MINI comes loaded with 25 fun sound effects, including a bike bell, police siren, racing cars, motorbike, fire engine, train, helicopter, animals and plenty of silly favourites.

Kids can change the sound to match their mood, their imagination or the day’s adventure.

6 Different Light Settings

The built-in light offers six different settings using white and green LEDs, including flashing modes that add extra fun and visibility while your child rides.

3 Adjustable Volume Levels

Parents can choose between loud, medium and quiet settings, making it easier to select an appropriate sound level for different riding environments.

Remote Trigger Keeps Hands on the Handlebars

The remote trigger can be positioned close to your child’s thumb so they can activate their chosen sound without needing to remove a hand from the handlebars.

This is especially useful on bikes where the main MINI unit may need to sit further away from the rider’s grip.

IP33 Weather Resistant

The MINI has an IP33 ingress protection rating, providing protection against splashed water and solid objects greater than 2.5mm.

It’s designed for normal outdoor riding conditions, but should not be submerged in water.

Lightweight on Little Handlebars

The main horn and light unit weighs approximately 60g, while the remote trigger adds around 10g, keeping the setup lightweight on smaller bikes and scooters.

Powered by Standard AAA Batteries

The MINI runs on 2 × AAA batteries, making replacements simple without needing a proprietary charging cable or rechargeable battery pack.

Add Accessories to a Ride for Just $10 Shipping

When eligible accessories, helmets or spare parts are ordered together with a bike, scooter or skateboard, the accessory shipping component is reduced by 50% — from $20 to just $10.

This is a single $10 accessory shipping charge for all eligible accessories in the order, regardless of quantity.

Examples:

• 12″ bike + Hornit MINI = $30 total shipping
• Bike + MINI + helmet + pump = $30 total shipping
• Scooter + MINI + helmet = $30 total shipping

New Zealand shipping is currently available for selected Kidvelo bikes only at the following flat rates:

1-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects when purchased from Xchange Sports.

This warranty covers manufacturing faults and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, modification, battery leakage or damage caused by incorrect installation or use.

We want you and your child to be happy with your purchase.

If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll work with you to find the best solution.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Approved change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery where the product is:

• Undamaged
• Complete with all supplied components
• In its original packaging
• In resellable condition

For approved change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If We Send the Wrong Item

If Xchange Sports makes an error with your order — such as sending the wrong product or colour — we’ll arrange return shipping at no cost to you and provide the appropriate replacement or solution.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos of the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate solution may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any written warranty and cannot be excluded by this policy. Consumer guarantee rights may continue beyond the stated warranty period where applicable.

Battery Care

The Hornit MINI uses 2 × AAA batteries. Always install batteries with the correct polarity and remove exhausted batteries promptly.

If the MINI will not be used for an extended period, removing the batteries can help reduce the risk of battery leakage and damage.

Weather Resistance

The Hornit MINI carries an IP33 rating and is designed to withstand normal splashes during everyday outdoor use.

Do not submerge the unit, deliberately expose it to heavy water ingress or clean it by soaking or spraying directly with high-pressure water.
