For approved change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Where the part supplied matches your order and product description, purchasing the hardware for an incompatible bike or ordering the wrong part is treated as a change-of-mind return, rather than a shipping or fulfilment error.

If you think you may need to return the part for change-of-mind or compatibility reasons, please keep it:

Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate solution may include a repair, replacement or refund.

It is not designed for Strider 16-inch or 20-inch bikes.

Important Wheel Installation Check

Wheel axle hardware is a safety-critical bicycle component and must be installed correctly before riding.

When fitting the wheel:

• Make sure all supplied axle components are positioned correctly
• Ensure the tabbed safety washers are correctly located in the frame or fork slots
• Tighten the axle nuts securely and evenly
• Make sure the wheel sits correctly between the frame or fork
• Check that the wheel rotates freely
• Check for excessive side-to-side wheel movement
• Confirm the wheel cannot move or pull free from the bike

Why the Safety Washers Matter

The tabbed washers are designed to locate into the corresponding slots in the Strider frame or fork.

They must be correctly positioned before the axle nuts are secured. Do not place the tabs outside the intended mounting slots or leave the washers out during assembly.

Tighten Both Sides Correctly

When tightening the axle nuts, it may be necessary to use two suitable wrenches so one side can be held while the opposite side is tightened.

If the wheel feels loose, wobbles excessively or does not spin correctly after installation, stop and recheck the hardware before allowing your child to ride.

Check Wheel Hardware Regularly

Axle hardware should form part of your regular pre-ride and maintenance checks.

Periodically inspect:

• Axle nuts for secure tension
• Safety washers for correct positioning
• The axle and hardware for damage or corrosion
• The wheel for looseness or excessive movement
• The frame and fork mounting slots for damage

Never allow your child to ride a balance bike with a loose or incorrectly secured wheel.
